No new burglaries of businesses or residences occurred in Mexia during the first week of the New Year after five commercial sites were hit in December, according to Chief of Police Heath Crossland.
Registration is over for the spring semester at Navarro College South at Mexia, and classes begin Tuesday, Jan. 16.
