The Coolidge girls basketball team got close to victory in its Class 1A bi-district playoff game against Aquilla at Covington on Tuesday night.
The Mexia soccer team was edged by Waco La Vega, 3-2, in a District 23-4A match at Blackcat Field on Tuesday, Feb. 13.
