The Mexia Runnin' Cats' season came to an end Friday night with a 70-67 overtime loss to Palmer in the area round of the Class 3A playoffs at the Coliseum at Italy High School.
The Mexia boys soccer team vaulted into third place in District 23-4A with a 6-1 victory over Hearne on Tuesday, Feb. 20.
The Mexia baseball team opened its season with a 10-0 victory over Wortham at Blackcat Field on Tuesday, Feb. 20.
McGregor did its best to slow down the Runnin’ Cats in its Class 3A bi-district playoff game at Waco Midway on Tuesday, Feb. 20.
