PERRY LYNN BANKS
Perry Lynn Banks was born in Odessa to Annie Earl Forge and J.D. Banks. The family moved to Mexia in 1973. Perry was the youngest of six children. Perry attended schools in Mexia, but he graduated from The Jobs Corps in San Marcos, where he received a certification as a butcher. Perry was a loving and kind person. He loved the outdoors, especially fishing. His passion was building and restoring furniture. He started his own company in 2011, called Perry’s Furniture Repair. He had many good jobs, went to a lot of places and met a lot of great people. He had numerous stories to tell and always with a smile. Perry was offered a job
Perry was offered a job in Louisiana right after Hurricane Katrina. He lived there for the last 17 years of his life. He passed away at Slidell Memorial Hospital in Slidell, La. He is preceded in death
He is preceded in death by his parents ,Annie Easrl Forge and J.D. Banks, and both sets of grandparents.
Those he leaves to cherish and remember him are his two children, Leshia Banks and Perry Lynn Banks Jr. Four brothers, Gregory Lynn Redic (Kel la) of Teague, Scott Redic of Dallas, Osburn Redic of Dallas, Harold Banks of Duncanville; one sister Jacqueline Redic Carr (Fred) of Mexia; seven nieces, Natasha Redic Turner (Marion), Kristi Redic Johnson (Joshua), Brandie Small, Anneshia Redic, Labrina Carr, Terryn Banks and Jennifer Giddings; four nephews, LaBrandon Willians, Gregory Lynn Redic Jr. (Cortney), Gaston Banks (Natalie) and Jeremiah Redic; 14 great-nieces and great-nephews; and incredibly special friends, Gary and Diana Jones of Lacombe, La.
