Napoleon ‘Robert’ Jones

Nepoleon “Robert” Jones was born Feb. 19, 1930, in Groesbeck to the parentage of Frank Jones and Altus Jones.   He passed away Oct. 25, 2019.   His parents preceded him in death.  He attended public school in Groesbeck.  He moved to Mart and worked at Rountree Auto Sales for several years.

He is also preceded in death by his sisters, Mary Wilson, Lucille Lusk, and Helen Jones, Elsie Harrison; and brothers, Tracy Jones, Brady Jones, D.H. Jones, T Earnest Jones,  Sarvalia Jones, Billy Gene Jones, David Jones and Lloyd Jones.  

He is survived by his son, Douglas Bell Jones of Houston; daughter, Gloria Jones of Mart; sister, Frankie Milus of Groesbeck; a special nephew, Horace Jones; and a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.  

Funeral service and arrangements were entrusted to Pearly Gates Funeral Home.  Service was held on Nov. 1 at 1 p.m. at Lone Star Baptist Church of Groesbeck.
